Kyoto walnut

Kyoto is na Tokyo de meest bekende plaats in Japan en is voor een lange tijd de hoofdstad geweest van Japan. Samurai, Geisha en politieke intriges is wat je hier allemaal vond. Ook nu is de stadskern nog steeds zoals vroeger qua architectuur en daarom een enorme toeristische trekpleister. En een mooie naam voor deze minimalistische bijzettafels die met de grootste zorg vervaardigd zijn. Mooi voor naast het bed of een toevoeging aan jouw (Japandi) interieur.

Deze bijzettafels zijn gemaakt van een combinatie van 2 verschillende soorten fijnhout. Het tafelblad is gemaakt van fineer met randen van massief hout. Het voordeel hiervan is dat het niet krom trekt of scheurt wat je helaas soms ziet met volledig massief houten tafels. De tafel is afgewerkt in hardwax-olie.

Bij nabestelling is de levertijd ongeveer 2-3 weken. Ik probeer altijd zoveel mogelijk direct op voorraad te hebben. Toch is het goed om een nabestelling te doen in plaats van te wachten tot het product weer op voorraad is. Ik maak de lampen zelf en kan dan prioriteit maken van je bestelling.

These side tables are made from a combination of 2 different types of fine wood. The tabletop is made of veneer with edges of solid wood. The advantage of this is that it does not warp or tear, which unfortunately sometimes happens with completely solid wooden tables. The table is finished in hard wax oil.
